Where is Al When You Need Him?

December 2, 2011 § Leave a comment

Hello dear blog readers,

Unfortunately, the home internet has been down the last 3 days and we have been unable to post (welcome to Zambia).  We are alive and well, and we wanted you to know that we have not forgotten about you.

Today is a big day for Zambia as former US President George W Bush arrives for a 2-day visit.  During the next 2 days, he will visit several World Vision projects as we were the lead implementors in Zambia of his PEPFAR program.

While I am happy former President Bush is visiting, I really wish Al Gore was visiting instead.  Why?  Because I figure he might be able to resolve our internet connectivity issues seeing as he was the one who “took the initiative in creating the Internet”.  Oh well.
