As some of you might know, my dad is a pilot and I grew up flying with my family in our plane. Flying gives a whole different perspective. Sometimes when I’m caught up in the day to day tasks, chores, and events of my day, I forget what the whole point of life is. I get busy working in the field, mad at how I stubbed my toe on that stupid rock, or how tired I am and why there are so many hills we have to go up and down, or how my travel companion is doing X, Y, or Z and I wish they would stop, or why we haven’t gotten to such-and-such a place yet, and on and on and on. I’m challenged to think about my life differently. What is this moment compared to all of my life…or even yet, all of eternity?
