Sunny (Blue) Baby Blanket

June 5, 2012 § 3 Comments

What a fun project! It was a doozy and sure required some oomph at the end to finish but it was worth it and I absolutely love how it turned out. I had originally picked out a different “bobbles and lace” pattern (see HERE) but never could get my bobbles to look quite right. This simple pattern was perfect for our road trips and evening movies where I needed some mindless knitting (although it did get a bit large to cart around at the end).

Pattern: “Sunny Baby Blanket

Needles: Knit Picks #8 (5.0mm) and 29inch circular

Yarn: Cascade 220 Superwash, color #848 lot #5770, 6 skeins of 100 grams each (purchased from Cultured Purls in Issaquah, WA)

Approximate time: 50 hours

Began December 2011, Finished May 2012
